Royal Mail Tracked 48 

Requires a signature unless an instruction is given to leave the parcel in a safe place. We are unable to deliver to PO Box address.

Our courier service is next working day however please allow for (UK 2 days) and (Northern Ireland, Scottish Islands and Channel Islands 2-4 Days).

Click and Collect
Orders can be picked up from our shop at 25-33 Gabriel's Hill, Maidstone during business hours. An email will be sent to you advising when your parcel is ready for collection.

Delivery Terms

Please allow up to 1-3 days for delivery (UK). We use a courier, next working day delivery service, for all product unless you have selected the Royal Mail option at the checkout on the Website. We will endeavour, to dispatch products immediately on confirmation that your order is accepted and issue of your Order Reference Number. If for some reason we have a problem with your order we will contact you by telephone or email as soon as practicable to let you know. If delay in dispatch is likely to exceed 7 days you may, provided the product has not been dispatched, cancel your order and we will refund all sums paid by you.

A delivery pre-advice text or e mail is sent to you the day the item is dispatched. You will also receive a second notification, on the day of delivery. The text or e-mail message allows you to re-organise delivery to another day, select a safe place for your parcel to be left if this is preferred or to select a nearby Pick Up Point. Instructions can be given at our checkout for packages to be left in a specified safe place or with a neighbour if you are likely to be out when delivery is made.

Deliveries Out of the UK

Deliveries out of the UK may be subject to local sales taxes, custom charges and/or import duties, over which we have no control, and for which we cannot accept liability. If they apply they may require to be paid before the parcel will be released for delivery. You may be required to pay additional charges for customs clearance. We have no control over these charges and cannot advise you what they may be. As customs policies vary from country to country, you may wish to contact your local Tax or Customs office for further details.

Lost parcels

Royal Mail

It is very rare for parcels to go missing, but please take note of the following terms:
We will not be able to enter a claim for lost products with Royal Mail until:
1. 15 working days have passed (for UK orders)
2. 20 working days have passed (for EU orders)
3. 25 working days have passed (for orders outside the EU)

Courier Service

1.  15 working days have passed (for UK orders)

3. 25 working days have passed (for orders outside the EU

Proof of delivery which can include a Signature, GPS coordinates or photograph

will be provided to the customer. This should be sufficient to prove the delivery was successful and invalidate a warranty claim. If the courier company is unable to provide this evidence then a claim will be considered.
*please note that monies will not be refunded until the claim has been accepted by the courier firm.


QUALITY CHECKS

We cannot guarantee that our items have not been tried on in our store at some point. Sale items may have been displayed on racks in our stores also. 
We adopt a rigorous quality checking procedure which aims to ensure that the products we dispatch meet the high standards that our customers expect. If you are not happy with the product you have received, please contact us on 01622 752349 to discuss.

Easy Returns

We trust you will be delighted with your purchase, but if you are not completely satisfied you can return it to us up to 28 days after delivery (that is 14 days for you to notify us of your wish to return and 14 days after cancellation to return).

Here’s how to do it:

Visit our independent store in Maidstone with both your items and a proof of purchase to return or exchange your purchase.
Alternatively, please return items by post to: Returns, The Golden Boot, 25-33 Gabriel's Hill, Maidstone, Kent. ME15 6HX.
We will issue a refund within a maximum of 7 working days of the goods being received.
If you’re returning an item because it’s unwanted or you need to exchange it, we ask that you pay for the cost of the return carriage.
Exchanges for non-sale items will be sent free of charge (UK Only)
All unwanted items must be returned in a re-saleable condition, new and unused and with the original labels attached.
Please do not apply the postage label directly to the product packaging and ensure the item(s) are packaged securely and suitably for transit.
Please include a completed returns form in the parcel.

When you’re arranging to return an item by post, we strongly recommend that you obtain a proof of postage receipt as we regret that we cannot be held responsible for goods lost in transit.


We reserve the right to impose a £10 charge if the goods are returned without their original box/packaging or in a condition that we deem unacceptable. Please ensure that shoes are tried on a carpeted surface.

Goods that have been personalised with our embossing service are non-returnable and non-refundable unless faulty.

* International customers should note that they are responsible for all charges for any returns coming back to us including additional charges for customs clearance. We have no control over these charges and cannot calculate what they may be.

* If a delivery is refused by the consignee, any charges the Golden Boot incurs to have the parcel returned will be deducted from any refund due.

* The customer is responsible for paying any additional charges for customs clearance for returns coming back to us from outside the UK. We have no control over these charges and cannot calculate what they may be.


FAULTY GOODS

If you believe your purchased item is faulty, please contact us on 01622 752349 or [email protected] before returning your item to us,

You may also visit our store. We will not process faulty returns unless pre-authorised and the customer may be liable for returns and shipping costs.

Faulty items should be returned for assessment free from mud or dirt. We regret that we are unable to process items that do not meet this criteria.

  1. Click here to visit the Royal Mail Returns Portal and follow the instructions given. Please enter your order number. This is found on your invoice enclosed with your purchase.
  2. Print off the label and attach it to your parcel**
  3. Drop the parcel off in a convenient Royal Mail Post Office and collect a receipt of postage
  4. We receive your parcel and process the return. £3.50 will be deducted from the amount we refund you
  5. You may choose to use the Royal Mail Collect Plus Service, follow the on-going instructions on the Royal Mail Portal. This service would be at your cost.

**Size and weight restrictions apply. The maximum parcel size is 61cm x 46cm x 46cm with a maximum weight of 5kg
